The JW Marriott San Antonio Hill Country Resort & Spa is scheduled to open this month on 600 acres just 20 minutes from downtown San Antonio and the airport in the Texas Hill Country. The resort offers 1,002 guest rooms with views of the property’s terrain of rolling hills dotted with oak trees and creeks.

Event space at the resort totals more than 140,000 square feet and features the latest in audiovisual technology. Venues include the 40,000-square-foot Grand Oaks Ballroom, the 21,000-square-foot Cibolo Canyon Ballroom, a 40,000-square-foot exhibit hall, 20,000 square feet of space subdivided into 18 breakout rooms, and three outdoor event venues ranging from 8,000 to 30,000 square feet.

The JW Marriott also features a 26,000-square-foot spa; a fitness center; a six-acre water park with pools, a river and water rides; seven restaurant and lounge options, including a sports bar; hiking and biking trails; and two 18-hole golf courses.
