A new iPhone app has been developed specifically for associations and other member-based organizations. Called “yourApp” and launched by YourMembership.com, a provider of online member communities and membership-management software, the app allows associations to customize their own mobile applications for Apple’s iPhone and iPod Touch.

Members can then use their organization’s app to search for and contact fellow members; view member profiles; access messaging centers; upload photos and view photo galleries; and view their organization’s blog, among other things.
